PERCEPTION & PSYCHOPHYSICS

#3

As mathematical

      difficulties
            seemed to block
the rapid investigation

of better memory

            assumptions,

      we elected temporarily
to bypass

      that difficulty

by modifying
      our experimental procedure
into what is

      ,essentially,

            a simple

reaction-      time
            design.
