for the American Comparative Literature meetings in Mexico. His call for papers provides an interesting take on the subject.

    Please note that due to the great interest in this seminar, it has been divided into two streams. In addition to the 8-paper "A New Global Poetics? II" linked above, there is a 12-paper stream, "A New Global Poetics? I." A list of these papers can be viewed at http://dev.cdh.ucla.edu/acla2007/?p=130.
